Members of the Greek Diaspora to meet Australian PM on national issues

Members of the Pan-Australian Coordinating Committee Justice for Cyprus and the Greek – Australian Council seek to schedule a meeting with the Prime Minister of Australia, Kevin Rant (photo), the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Steven Smith and other politicians from all parties of the Australian Federal Parties, on the 18th and 19th of June.
This was decided, among others, on the Weekend at the PASEKA and Federation of Cypriot Communities which took place in Adelaide.
As it was stated by the President of the Cypriot Community of Melbourne, Mr. Stellios Aggelodimou, besides the informative character of the meeting of the committee of Cypriot Organizations and Communities with the political leadership of Australia, the resolution of the Conference will also be presented to the Australian Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country.
The conference was attended by around 70 representatives of Cypriot organizations in Australia, Mayors and representatives of occupied municipalities in Cyprus.
At the same time with the Conference of Cypriot Communities and Organizations of Australia and New Zealand and PASEKA, on Saturday the Conference of Cypriot youth (NEPOMAK) was also held.
