Palesviaki Enosis Melbourne and Victoria invites you (in Sunday, 7 March 2010, 11am to 6pm, 26 Waldheim Road, Bayswater, 3153) to come and enjoy with us traditional Greek music, dance, food and ouzo in true Mytilenean style from the Greek island of Lesvos.
This year at OuzoFest10, we will be hosting our fellow Mytileneans from other States, making for a grand “get together” of Mytileneans from around Australia.
This year’s Ouzo Festival includes:
The Greek band ‘Leventopeda’ performing live.
‘Pegasus’ and the ‘Greek Orthodox Community’ Dancing groups, performing Greek dances in traditional Greek costumes.
Children’s activities including a Jumping Castle.
You can purchase traditional Greek fare such as, char-grilled octopus, gyros, Greek salad, sardines in brine, feta cheese, beer and soft drinks.
Entrance is $15 per adult, includes OUZO and a commemorative ouzo glass. children under 18 yrs, free admission.
