Greek Australian Mark Filippousis, who used to fly high in the skies of world tennis, but had to retire due to his wounds, is returning to action at age 33.
Having had six knee operations, Filippousis believes that he still has the power to practice tennis professionally.
“I don’t know if I can do it. I do know I want to come back to playing tennis very much and I’ll try to with all my strength.” Fillippousis says.
The experts that have recently watched him play, say that he reminds them of his old self and that he can hit the ball at a speed of 214 km/hr. It is this strength that has given him the nickname “Scud”.
