Jordan aka Katie Price and her husband Peter Andre are to split after three and a half years, it has been confirmed.
The glamour model and Andre, a former Australian popstar, signalled the end of the rocky romance in a joint statement from their management company.
It said they ‘have both requested that the media respect their families’ privacy at this difficult time’.
The split comes just hours after Jordan, famed for her breasts, was pictured spilling out of a revealing top and cuddling up to a mystery man in a Bristol nightclub.
Andre had previously warned his wife: ‘I would only ever leave her if she cheated on me or started doing drugs.’
‘If I saw Katie holding hands with another bloke I’d go ballistic. I’m a hot-blooded Greek.’
Only one evening later the pair were pictured out on what may have been their last public outing together with a intimate meal at London’s Nobu restaurant.
The shock split comes after the couple returned from Hollywood after trying to crack the states with their ITV 2 reality show The Next Chapter Stateside.
Just a fortnight ago the pair made a public appearance by running the London Marathon together.
Price recently hinted the relationship was struggling, telling a gossip magazine: ‘I did think he was cheating on me.’
She told: ‘The sex was different, he was deleting all his text messages and wouldn’t leave his phone on the side.’
Full details of the split have not been released, but the couple could be heading for a bitter court battle over Price’s estimated £50m fortune.
The pair struck up their romance in the Australian jungle on I’m A Celebrity Get me Out of Here in 2004.
Since the pair have divulged the ins and out of their romance in a string of lucrative magazine interviews before attempting a pop double act with their album A Whole New World in 2006.
They have two children together son Junior, 3 and one-year-old daughter Princess Tiáamii. The model has a previous son, Harvey, 6 by footballer Dwight Yorke.
